First time being single for a long period of time since middle school.

It’s come to be about a year now.

And I finally am feeling like I want to fall in love.

To feel safe/relieved from the rest of the world when I’m with you; to go out and take on the city; to stay inside and chill with food, movies, naps together; to be ourselves around each other; to have effortless conversations about meaningful things and nonsense, meaningless things; to hear your voice; to take care of each other.

If only I knew where “you” are.

Maybe it’s just one of those nights, maybe it’s a moment’s wavering feeling in the midst of intoxicated thoughts.

All I can say is that right now, at this moment, I really want to fall in love.

I used to say that I can’t date anybody unless I can imagine a future with them.
But now, for the first time, I feel like I just want to take things day by day and see where things would go if I were to date someone or find somebody I like.

The stars are beautiful tonight and I wish I had my Apex Maksutov-Cassegrain right meow. Lol. Oh wait, I need to buy one first. laskdfjasdf

“Sorry”Gets thrown around WAY TOO MUCH;I think even moreso than “I love you” and it’s really disappointing.

“Sorry”
Gets thrown around WAY TOO MUCH;
I think even moreso than “I love you” and it’s really disappointing.

2716. Red String of Fate. “An East Asian belief originating from Chinese legend and is also used in Japanese legend. According to this myth, the gods tie an invisible red string around the fingers of those that are destined to meet each other in a certain situation or help each other in a certain way. According to Chinese legend, the deity in charge of “the red thread” is believed to be Yuè Xià Lǎo (月下老, often abbreviated to “Yuèlǎo” [月老]), the old lunar matchmaker god who is also in charge of marriages.” Wow, this is beautiful!

The two people connected by the red thread are destined lovers, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. This magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. This myth is similar to the Western concept of soulmates or a twin flame.

My ex-boyfriend took pictures of our hands like this..It was nice. I was taking a nap and he took a piece of paper, put my hand on top and started drawing a red ring around my pinky, a red line (like the string), and put his hand with a red ring around the pinky on top of the paper too. I woke up to find red on my finger, confused; he showed me the picture and it was so cute/nice.

If you’ll be my boat, I’ll be your sea;The depth of pure blue just to probe curiosity;Ebbing and flowingand pushed by a breeze,I live to make you free.I live to make you free.
And you can set sail to the West if you want to;past the horizon, ‘till I can’t even see you,Far from here where the beaches are wide.Just leave me your wake to remember you by.

Far from here where the beaches are wide.

This song will forever be one of my favorites.

Let’s cuddle so things like this can happen. :)
