And now I’m going to Tokyo for the third time this year in December.
Two out of three times these trips are to see Arashi. Lol.

I’ve literally been watching their concert DVDs like… every day since I’ve come back to uni.
They, without fail, lift my spirits to cloud nine. (*≧▽≦)bb
Photos taken by me.
These are just products of what I’ve recently learned in class on Verbal and Non-Verbal Interpreting. I just need to take these thoughts out of my mind. These are just personal observations/analysis. Please don’t hate/bash me on writing this ;____; If you have something to say about my points, you are free to say them
but please in a nice way=)))
I don’t blame you for half of what you said as I think a lot of the evidence you used from the MC got lost in translation.
When Nino was talking about being in trouble with the higher-ups, it was for bringing Ohmiya SK back. We all know that the higher-ups in the jimusho don’t like Ohmiya SK, Dream-“A”-Live was supposed to be their last appearance.
And when Aibachan said he doesn’t know if they’ll be able to do this again, he was saying that he doesn’t know what will happen in the future period. In the secret talk of the Green track in Ura Ara Mania, they talk about doing it again next year as if it’s a sure thing. But Aibacchi was just saying that he won’t know what’ll happen in the future so he can’t be so sure, he just hopes that it will work out. Because who knows, they might release another album and then do a tour for that in the summer instead of AraFes again.
And Johnny’s isn’t exactly against concerts with concepts like this. That’s why at things like the Countdown concerts they sing a lot of old songs by different Johnny’s artists and solo concerts of members of various groups are held as well. And this concert wasn’t meant to be a tour, because that’s what Popcorn was for.
And if anything, Kitagawa-san would never view a concert like this a waste of their talents. It’s more understandable that the boys wearing inappropriate clothing would be frowned upon because there is a huge range of age groups that know and love Arashi, they want to keep bad influences like that at a minimum. Which is why boys showing their bare legs would be inappropriate. But producing a concert like this would not be seen as a waste of talent, I think.
As for your theories,
They purposely didn’t have Jr. at the show because this, unlike other tour showings, is a concert produce for the fans by the fans. Shochan said that they wanted to do this on their own with just the five of them so that it’s very focused on Arashi and Arashi fans. It’s not uncommon for Arashi concert attendees to be waving an uchiwa with a Jr’s name on it. But because the concept is the concept, I think it makes sense that they didn’t have Jr this time.
The goods are actually usually limited. Things get sold out frequently, and they love the idea of having goods that are limited edition, which is why during Beautiful World they had towels that were Tokyo Dome limited edition that they sold during the Waku Waku Gakkou. They didn’t sell this towel at the Kokuritsu showings so naturally this towel sold out. As for the fact that there was only group uchiwas, posters, etc etc. I think that’s because once again it’s a concert celebrating what Arashi songs they want to hear; arashi as a group. And yeah, they might’ve wanted to concentrate their good budget on their tour because the tour will be reaching a record-breaking 870,000 people all together with all their shows (for the Popcorn Tour). This is obviously much much more than the only 140,000 (give or take for the people that buy goods but are unable to attend the concert). Johnny’s has always been a company that wants to reach as many people as possible, so I think it makes sense that they would concentrate their revenue on a tour that does go around the country giving people who don’t live in Tokyo a chance to see them and buy goods. I didn’t really view it as a conspiracy against them.
And yeah, once again, Nino was just mentioning that he really wanted to bring Taka and Yuuji back so…. He wasn’t referring to the concert concept in general, but those two troublemakers. :P
時計じかけのアンブレラ♡
I will learn the dance to this song not only because it looks easy but because it’s simply AMAZING.

It was Sho’s turn to do a bit of “Hip Hop Boogie” and “Cool & Soul”. He rapped as Jun kept doing his DJing. They got close together and everybody screamed when Sho called him “My DJ MJ”.
Except Shochan’s rap was from Re(Mark)able.

How do you know it was his mother? O.o
Well, when my sister and I sat in our seats and those older ladies sat behind us, there was already something very different about them. I mean, usually older women who come by themselves without their daughters or families and whatnot are DECKED out in Arashi or there are more obvious signs of them being fans. But these two ladies had nothing like that, consequently, they were so normalthat they stood out.
Then, when Matsujun passed us on the small white cart, he was looking down at our section, he glanced at me and smiled and then my sister and I literally heard him say, “whoa” when he looked at the lady specifically sitting behind my sister with a really short boyish cut grey hair. This is when my sister and I theorized that she was one of the members’ mothers. Obviously not Matsujun’s because of his reaction upon seeing her so we subtly kept our eyes peeled for more clues.
After that, they moved onto the high stage in the back and the lady that was sitting behind me (presumably Ohchan’s mother’s friend) pointed to the area where there was Ohchan and Shochan. And the lady with the grey hair nodded and kept looking towards that area.
Lastly, when DJxMJ came on the stage, Ohmiya SK came out. This is when the lady with the grey hair said ”今でもあんなことしちゃって…” Translation: Doing such things even now…. As in she was embarrassed at the fact that Ohchan was doing something like that. That was the final clue. We had narrowed down from 4 members to two, and then to one with that one comment she said.
Going with that one comment she made, we left the possibility that it could have been Nino’s mother. But we all know that Nino and his mother supposedly look VERY similar and I couldn’t see much of Nino in her. Or, I guess I should say her in Nino. Anyway. Nino also passed by us on the white cart and he smiled and peaced signed at me and he smiled and waved to the grey-haired lady.
I mean, these two ladies were enjoying the, but not like a regular Arashian their age. And she was so poised like…. very nonchalant about everything going on. While most people are freaking out about their seats and how close they are to the stage, these two ladies were so quiet and actually enjoying the fandom surrounding them as well.
I was proud to be an Ohchan fan sitting in front of her. :P
